ThaiRomances Review

ThaiRomances Review

Thairomances.com is fresh out of the box and has launched recently which clearly shoes in its site design and user interface. The sight looks interactive but many of the elements are still not in place or is yet to be updated, but there are chances all of these problems will improve in the near future once it has picked up a bit of more friction.

Like most new or recent dating sites in 2018, thairomances.com also has a quick registration process in which email confirmation is not necessary. Once you click on signup, you’re only required to fill up a short registration form that has 6 fields. Once you’re done with the form, you can directly move on to the profile homepage.

The profile homepage setup is very basic and simple with a blue navigation bar at the top of the page that has a newsfeed tab, a matches tab, a profile tab, a search tab, language tab and messages tab. The emphasis on image over text for the navigation bar is a nice touch but needs to improve as the Language tab and Profile settings tab cannot be discerned easily at first glance. Below the profile photo is the Recommended matches section. The Quick Search section below it has many filters that usually can be noticed in advanced search filters, that makes looking for member profiles that might interest you easier. The Profile Settings tab also has a secret notes tab where you can basically jot down and bookmark potential profiles you might be interested in but are not interacting with due to the profile ratings and check on them later if you feel like it.

The paid subscription model for this site has 3 subscription options for 2 months, 6 months and 12 months’ timeframes. The standard pricing model for dating sites is also present here with the 6- and 12-month subscriptions costing you significantly less than the 2 month’s subscription.  All site features are unlocked once you upgrade your profile to the paid subscription.

Conclusion:

Thairomances.com is one of the few new recommendable Thai dating sites in 2018 in my books. Though the current look and feel for the site are barebones, the interactive design and notification pop in are really neat and might see a worthwhile overhaul in the near future. If you want an edge when it improves, you might consider signing up in the current early phase of the site.
